Alamo Race Track
Alamo Race Track. Just about every sane and legal resident of the Netherlands should have heard of Alamo Race Track. If but if you do know who they are you be stared at. Afterwards they will call you a walking-fridge^W walking-musical-information-booth when they heard a couple of their tracks. They will recognize it, instantaniously (if they listen to any music (commercial or other) at all).
And that's what makes them so fascinating, well known without beeing known.
The Black Cat John Brown album has a couple of awesome songs. This one is recorded by the excellent team behind blogotheque. Even tough they felt the result could have been better, I don't mind. The music, the creativity even during the recording it is nothing less than perfection. The setting is an old french hotel room that looks like it comes out of an 1950 french love-story. I fell in love with this song, especially this performance.
